adidas #HOMETEAM HERO / WHO donation campaign

#HOMETEAMHERO Challenge — a global donation campaign to support the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. The idea: “Log a million hours of activity together.”

For every active hour tracked through adidas fitness apps or partner apps, $1 was donated to the WHO. The campaign unfolded in four phases—announcement, education, launch, and exit—and was driven largely by social media, featuring user-generated content and support from Olympic athletes.

The result: $3.25 million donated to the WHO’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
